Don't Trust the Tap Water
Our newest release taps into a primal fear hiding in plain sight. When the water from the faucet starts behaving in ways it shouldn't, one person's routine night turns into a waking nightmare. Something has contaminated more than just the pipes — and by the time you notice, it may already be too late.
A premium oversized fit cut from soft brushed fleece — relaxed, heavy, and made to live in. The official hoodie of Nocturn Films, finished with understated branding for those who prefer their horror quiet and close.
Nocturn Films is an independent horror production channel dedicated to creating cinematic short films that push the boundaries of suspense, atmosphere, and psychological terror. Every frame is crafted with intention — from the slow build of dread to the moment that makes you check the shadows behind you.
Founded by Cade Jackman with films written and directed by his brother Bryce Jackman, the channel was born from a shared obsession with the horror community. Together, they bring a tight-knit crew of filmmakers, actors, and editors into every project — proving that horror doesn't need a massive budget to be genuinely unsettling. It just needs storytelling that stays with you long after the screen goes dark.
From the emotional weight of On Hospice to the eerie tension of The Candle Man, each film explores a different shade of fear. New films are released on YouTube — subscribe to never miss a premiere.

Turn Out the Lights
Soft, broken-in, and quietly ominous — a wardrobe staple for the people who keep the horror community alive.
A heavyweight boxy cotton tee finished with a vintage mineral wash, so every piece wears a little differently. Front graphic reads “Turn Out the Lights — Nocturn Short Films” in our signature scrawl — understated until someone looks twice.

Privacy Policy
Last Updated: June 21, 2026
Nocturn Films ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit nocturnfilms.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. It is intended to align with U.S. privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA ("CCPA").
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide: We collect personal information only if you choose to give it to us — for example, by emailing us.
Information collected automatically: Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages viewed. We also store your cookie-consent choice locally in your browser using localStorage. We do not use analytics services or advertising trackers.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and we do not track you across other websites for advertising.
Categories of personal information collected (CCPA): Based on the above, we collect information in the following categories as defined under California Civil Code § 1798.140:
Identifiers — IP address (collected automatically by our hosting provider).
Internet or network activity — browser type, device type, and pages viewed on the Site (collected automatically by our hosting provider).
We do not collect commercial information, biometric data, geolocation data, audio or visual data, professional or employment information, education information, or inferences drawn from any of the above.
2. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use essential browser storage (localStorage) to remember your cookie-consent preference. No cookies are set by us directly. Some pages on the Site display film thumbnails loaded from YouTube’s image servers (img.youtube.com). When your browser fetches these images, YouTube may receive your IP address and browser information as a routine part of the request — we do not control this, and no data from those requests is sent to us. Links to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and our store may set their own cookies when you click through. You can manage your cookie preferences using the banner on this Site or through your browser settings.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and to respond to your inquiries. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We may disclose information to service providers that host the Site (solely to operate the Site), or where required by law.
5. Third-Party Services & CDN Connections
The Site links to external services, including our YouTube channel, social media profiles, and our separate online store at marketplace.nocturnfilms.com. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
As noted in Section 2, some pages load film thumbnail images directly from YouTube’s content delivery network (img.youtube.com). This is a passive image request — we do not embed YouTube players or run YouTube’s JavaScript on this Site. However, the image request itself may be visible to YouTube and governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
6. Your Privacy Rights (U.S. / California)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: know what categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold about you; request access to or a portable copy of it; request deletion or correction of inaccurate information; opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (note: we do not sell or share); and limit the use of sensitive personal information (note: we do not collect sensitive personal information). We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
How to submit a request: Email us at privacy@nocturnfilms.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and describe what you are requesting. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require written proof of the authorization and may verify your identity directly before fulfilling the request.
Response timeframe: We will respond to verifiable consumer requests within 45 days of receipt. If we need additional time (up to 90 days total), we will notify you within the initial 45-day period and explain the reason for the extension.
Verification: To protect your information, we will verify your identity before fulfilling a request — typically by confirming that the email address you contact us from matches the address associated with your inquiry or consent record.
7. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Data Security & Retention
We implement reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We retain information for the following periods:
Hosting provider server logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) — retained by our hosting provider per their standard log-rotation policy, typically 30–90 days.
Cookie-consent preference (stored in your browser’s localStorage) — retained until you clear your browser storage or withdraw consent.
Email inquiries — retained until the inquiry is resolved and for a reasonable period thereafter (generally no longer than 12 months), unless a longer period is required by law.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted, and we will update the "Last Updated" date above.
